Shark SK460 vacuum cleaner review

Apart from traditional vacuums, we also have many choices for the vacuum cleaners for our house. Recently, my daughter Lily asked me if she could have a steam mop vacuum. I was very surprised because she is very familiar with the traditional vacuum, so I decided to find something as a mixture. That’s why, my post – the Shark SK460 vacuum cleaner review will answer my question for a mixture, and I hope you too. I hope you will find it useful. Review summary
While writing my Shark SK460 vacuum cleaner review, I also have tested the product many times. First, the steam system is not so popular for some customers so I need to clarify this very clearly for them. For this vacuum, it uses the Shark Intelligent Steam Control which offers me to change the mode quite easily when cleaning. I do not waste so much time in figuring this vacuum out for the first time.
Overall, many housewives and even husbands are very willing to have this vacuum for their homes. Besides many positive comments, Shark also has to deal with some negative feedback from some buyers. As we can see, the design of this vacuum is quite satisfactory, expect for not being able to stand alone. This point may make users feel unattractive at the product, but the pads are washable saving it back. More than 64% of the customers are very willing when this vacuum gets home, and 80% of them would definitely choose it again if it is for the second vacuum.
Pros and Cons
At first, I might say this vacuum impresses me by the very outstanding performance on wood floor. It uses a pumping motion to apply steam to each stroke, and left the floor looking very clean without greasy streaks. Also, it works quite smooth on little dried mud prints. Furthermore, the instructions are very easy to understand, even for newbies. The pads and steam settings are very user-friendly, too. You will find it very comfortable when cleaning around the house, but need to find a place to lean it to refill the water.
On the other side, the problem stays also in the pads. For customers who are not getting used to running a washer load, you may have to wash the mop pad by hand. Most of us do not like it, I know. So to avoid this, you may get other pads, save the dirty one up to justify running a short load to wash them in your machine. If you still want to look for something which can stand on its own, take a look at my Shark NV356E vacuum cleaner review.
